So I totally graduated on wednesday, recieving a Bachelor of Design.

Just so you know :)

much love monday

freedom.

what i am loving at the moment is that I am free!
i haven't exactly tasted it yet, due to complete busyness.

but i am free of uni!!! all that is left is grad show. which is a party!
i can't wait for next year. to work with my passions, design, dance, love and youth.
its going to be amazing.
and i love that i will not be bound by uni. as amazing as it was.
im so excited for all the things i can do!

miscela

say hello to my current uni assignment. im in a huge rush to get it finished because im working away during the last week of the course.
thats what you get when they change the dates on you!

oh margie.

nothing like drawing a bit of margaret thatcher on a wednesday afternoon.

Corporate ID

just a snippet from our corporate ID project at uni.
I'm feeling very nervous about this project. My first concepts needed a lot of work and i've spent way too long trying to fix things. Now I feel like it's a little too simple. But I'm actually quite happy with the type i've chosen. I'm still not sure about colours. My class suggested warmer colours but I just can't seem to get the right ones. Let me know what you think. Please!

(oh and its the ID for a organic and recycled packaging company)

The type for TRICYCLE is: Orator Std
The type for the secondary text is: Prophecy Script

I got them both from dafont.com

eighties baby

im just playing around with eighties fun. we had to choose a decade for a project
and i think i'll be doing the eighties. it's fun! I need to do more hand crafted though.
rather than sticking to the computer. but anyways. KAPOW!

colour movement

a project we worked on back in ye olde day of first year.
basically we just made a million (literally) little colour swatches using our own mixtures of gouache paint. And then we sifted through all the colours and placed them on a grid.
As much as it was tedious at times i enjoyed it.
I loved playing with the movement of colour using tints and shades on the grid.
