as per usual i apologise for my absence.

i have started the year in a crazy state of absolutely loving everything im doing, and throwing myself into anything and everything that i can. but at the same time the biggest dreams ive had yet are slowly forming themselves in my head!

colour movement

a project we worked on back in ye olde day of first year.

basically we just made a million (literally) little colour swatches using our own mixtures of gouache paint. And then we sifted through all the colours and placed them on a grid.

As much as it was tedious at times i enjoyed it.

I loved playing with the movement of colour using tints and shades on the grid.

i love the brightness of the stark walls, with the beautiful vintage fabrics.

and the inspiration board is very cute. makes me want to revamp my own.

or even make another one with more treats!!

this summer i think i will re-do my room. some how. not really sure?

i need to have a clean out though. also of what im not sure!

im not very good at letting go.

what are your workspaces like? busy? or not so?

mine is very busy. the clutter is good for me i think.

but i know my dad doesnt think clutter is as nice as i do :)

how amazing are these cupcakes! i just made some custard and am shocked to find that i actually did it right. my custard always ends up lumpy. but the truth is. i like doing it wrong. i love lumpy custard so much more!

i have been in a baking mood since i moved into this house. i think its the fact that i have my own kitchen. and i recently aquired some beautiful cookbooks! in the next month hopefully ill be making some cute things to post about!!
