hello everybody!

happy mothers day for all of you aussies reading today. i hope that everyone can spend their day with their lovely mum and lovely loved ones. my mum is coming down with some family and we're going to lunch and the footy. perfect mothers day for my mum!

its also......dum dum dum.....my birthday today! so its really exciting to share today with my mum. and how cool is it, my blog reached 1000 views and its my birthday! exciting stuff.

i hope everybody enjoys reading my blog as much as i love posting. ive got lots of pretty things to show you as ive been slack with the posting and its all building up in my computer. how exciting :)

this uni project is due next week. im a little behind because of the holidays, and i dont have the latest version of adobe sweet so ive had to do it all at uni which is hard! i hope you like the spreads so far. but they are far from done! i have a photo montage left, a vector illustration and a digital illustration. no idea where ill fit it in though. 

with the handdrawn spread; do you think it looks better with the second page covered in full text, or should i leave the top half blank. please help i dont know! although i think i like it blank. give me your opinions please :)

i love nature. i was walking on aran island while overseas and i stepped over this little puddle. it was so beautiful with the bright irish grass against the beautifully coloured rock. it made my day to see the heart looking at me like that! i love the way that nature makes me smile. light through trees, the scent of spring and the feel of rain. oh im a hippy at heart i think!

so im thinking, when i get enough followers, and over a thousand blog views. id like to start doing giveaways, or swaps or things like that. its so fun to recieve mail, especially when its fun crafty things. things that make your heart smile :) what do you think? yes? a good idea?

the photos are from a friend pubcrawl the other night. we didnt study the course, geology, we just went because the theme was pirates! how exciting! the chose it because of the rock pyrite, which is fools gold. hence "pyrites of the carribean, fools gold"

i will be getting these thankyou very much. fingers crossed anyways. they are a hungee. but hopefully i can use a 30% voucher and get them for 70.......

i havent bought shoes in so long! and i love loooooove these babies. you can find them at betts. oh, and i think ill get the black ones. they look HOT in black.

so one of my housies, rachie, bought a kaleidoscope today. the idea was found that we could take super dooper photos through the view finder! we've been having so much fun!

we shall be going out into the lovely daylight with it tomorrow to get some fun shots! there will be more posted soon......try it! its amazing fun!

the owners of this beautiful old old house bought it back in the early 90's. they used all of their savings to buy it. which i would do too! how cute is it! so between having children and time passing they've decorated it with bits and pieces. they have done everything themselves.

the random unmatching furniture and the cute flowers and shabby sheek are exactly what i want in my house. plus its in the peak district of england.

im so intensley jealous.

one day i shall move to england and live in a house like this!

i will have my horse in a cute old stable, chickens, a veggie garden, fresh flowers on the table, and a lovely husband.

if this doesnt happen my life will be miserable.
